Work Experience
As head of the Digital Workplace Team, bridged the gaps between communications, technology, and the business. Spearheaded the strategies that mobilized our 10,000 employees to collaborate and communicate more effectively; driving culture, teamwork and core values through best-of-class technologies matched with proven methodologies such as Agile and Lean, measured through data-driven and anecdotal metrics to increase business outcomes across the firm.
As the principal and founder of this boutique consulting firm, worked directly with the leadership, C-suite and founders of companies to create strategies that lead to positive outcomes through better communications and marketing; using storytelling and technology to strengthen their brands and business processes.
Led a highly specialized contract team of A-list designers, developers and UX professionals focused on providing the highest quality creative and technical services to clients. The firm served as a trusted partner to Fortune 100 companies, branches of the U.S. government, and clients of all sizes.
I joined Starpoint as an Art Director, where my ability to easily build rapport with clients and peers, and to deliver business solutions quickly led to managing projects and acting as client partner on initiatives with budgets up to $3MM. Promoted to the role of Director: Creative Solutions within my first year, co-led and elevated the 25-person design and UX team in the strategic vision and development of creative marketing initiatives, eLearning programs and application development, managing and creating business practices and methodologies which more effectively addressed the needs of our diverse, high-profile clients.
I've been speaking through photography for over three decades.
My work has appeared in hundreds of newspapers and magazines, including Life magazine, Sports Illustrated, Golf Digest, The Washington Post, Policy Review, The Economist, The Detroit Free Press, and Weekly Reader.
I hold awards from The Michigan State Press Association, The Hoosier State Press Association, The National Press Photographers Association, the Associated Press and the W3.
My images have also been used in many advertising and marketing campaigns for companies including The Coca Cola Company, Herman Miller, Simon & Schuster, Spalding, and Pella Windows.
